Circus Hub opened August 2016 by Ria Ashcroft and Kay Monrose. We are a creation and training studio in the heart of Nottingham. At Circus Hub we are interested in all things physical, healthy, creative and fun. We offer classes for adults and children aged 7plus in Aerial Silks, Hoop and Trapeze from complete beginner to advanced.
We have been training aerial for many years now and have a wealth of knowledge and experience collected along the way!

It is hard work and being up high can be scary but you feel an amazing sense of empowerment and achievement when you do something that you never thought you’d be able to do. I am a theatre maker, circus performer and teacher of circus and drama. I am the co-founding member of The Gramophones theatre company. I have been performing professionally on stage and screen for the past 10 years. I am passionate about the benefits of circus for young people and dedicated to raising aspirations and promoting healthy lifestyles through circus and drama.

I am an aerial performer, teacher of circus and a qualified yoga instructor. I have trained with many instructors from around the world she has gained skills in creating performances and dancing in the air. She is eager to encourage confidence in each individual’s ability and help you become agile, strong and graceful.
