Class for the complete adult beginner - introduction to aerial hoop and silks with Ria Aerial for the complete adult beginner! - If you've never done aerial before, this is the class for you. For beginner Youth Aerial - Please go to the YOUTH AERIAL section. Each week you will try out a different piece of equipment - Aerial Silks, Hoop, Trapeze, Sling for your complete introduction to aerial! The class includes a warm up, stretch, warm up on equipment, you will learn the correct technique to mount the equipment and some beginner moves. Within classes: Tutors will always deliver a comprehensive warm up which includes a physical exercise, conditioning and stretches to prepare to get on the equipment. Tutors will then demonstrate moves and sequences for participants to copy and learn. Each piece of apparatus will have a crash mat underneath and tutors will be available to spot(aid with the move or answer any questions. The class will finish with a cool down to prevent any injuries. We are a very welcoming studio and community, if you wish to be added to our facebook messenger group, please just ask your instructor or fellow students, the group is open for any of our students to join to get circus updates and be included in possible social events! We also encourage students to take pictures of their progress and post them on social media - please tag us! @circushubnotts on Insta, FB and TikTok. 24hrs notice must be given if you cannot attend a class for any reason. Failure to do this will mean we cannot refund you for the class. What to Bring: Please bring water and a snack - we will have a few breaks throughout the sessions. (Please do not bring nuts into the studio) What to Wear: Leggings and a top that covers the midriff to avoid skin burns. Cover as much skin as possible! Access: Our door is on Nelson Street - you can drive up this street but it is drop-off only. Parking can be found around the corner on Brook Street, Bath Street, Sneinton Market Carpark or Stonebridge Road which is a short walk away. Other Information/Covid Safety Rules: - Please be responsible - for everyones safety, if you are not feeling well, please do not attend the studio. - If you cough or sneeze please cover your face and wash your hands. - Please help us disinfect the safety mats under equipment after each session, throw paper towels in the MAIN WASTE DISPOSAL BIN, NOT the recycling bin.
